AVS Video Editor does not only transform your personal videos into pro-looking DVDs and Blu-ray discs, but it can also correct any exposure and color mistakes, enhance them with creative effects and overlays, and link them with professional transition effects. You can use existing video, audio, and image files, capture new video and screenshots for your projects, or combine both, and export your creations to file, disc, a specific device, or an online video service.

The possibilities are as varied as your creativity skills. The list of media file types you can import to your projects is too long to be reproduced here, and it surely covers all the most widely used media file formats you can think of. You can mix any of your existing files with freshly-captured video and screenshots (using AVS Video Recorder and AVS Screen Catpure, both included), and lay them all out in the convenient timeline-based editing environment. Here you can move around and rearrange your video, audio, and image files as you prefer, and add transitions, effects, and overlays just by dragging and dropping the desired effect accurately and conveniently onto a specific point within the timeline. Alternatively, you can use the storyboard mode to view thumbnails of the different media files and how they are organized within the stream.

Enhancing your video files is an intuitive and highly rewarding experience. You can drag and drop any of the dozens of effects provided and view the results in real time in the program’s built-in video player. You can test and try as many dynamic and static effects, transitions, and overlays as you wish without actually changing the original files. When you are happy with the results, you can save the entire project as an AVI, MOV, MP4, MPEG, GIF, TS, MKV, WMV, M2TS (Blu-ray) or DVD file; create a full DVD or Blu-ray disc complete with menus, chapters, etc.; send it to your favorite device, or share it to YouTube, Flickr, Facebook, and others. All of the media codecs that the program can output to support a certain level of customization via a set of profiles exclusive to each file format.

It doesn’t matter if it’s your latest holidays or a family celebration that you want to edit and put on disc for you and your friends and family, a school project meant to impress your teacher and classroom-mates, or a work-related presentation – AVS Video Editor offers you all the tools, utilities, and effects you need to create, edit, and produce any video-related project.
